Health Benefits of Nuts for Men

Nuts are associated with many health benefits- May help lower cholesterol, partly by replacing less healthy foods in the diet and is also known to be some of the best sources of healthful fats and protein around.
Brazil nuts, which are high in the mineral selenium, has shown to provide some protection against prostate cancer, according to preliminary research presented at the American Association of Cancer Research. Research was conducted on a Dutch study and found that men with high levels of selenium, were 60% likely to develop advanced prostate cancer within 17 years.
Men’s Reproductive Health-
For men looking to start a family, walnuts are also shown to effect sperm quality. Consumption of about two handfuls of nuts could improve the quality of sperm, in terms of its vitality and motility. Pistachios may also play a role in reducing erectile dysfunction!
